Perspectives on Social Sustainability and Responsibility in China

As the second-largest global economy, it is critical that China engage in sustainable and responsible action to preserve the planet and improve quality of life for the Chinese people. While social responsibility activity is still relatively new in China, the government, corporations, and individuals have a role in tackling these issues.

On January 12, 2022 (ET), several alumni – Amy Cheng (WG’10), Ming Khor WG‘16, and Chang Sun WG’89 – came together to offer an inside view on what is happening on the ground in China and how the government, companies, investors, and individuals are taking socially responsible action to ensure a sustainable future. The discussion was co-sponsored by the Lauder Institute Alumni Association (LIAA) and the Penn Wharton China Center.
